The Safer Options website is a resource and information hub to educate primary care providers and LGBTIQA+ individuals in Western Australia on intimate partner violence (IPV) as experienced by LGBTIQA+ individuals.
The Safer Options website was developed as an outcome from the Safer Options research project (formerly the Safer Options From Aggression project). The Safer Options project was conducted by Curtin University and funded by a grant from the WA Primary Health Alliance in partnership with WAAC and the Women’s Health and Family Services. The aim of the Safer Options research project was to strengthen the capacity of primary care providers in WA to deliver accessible primary care services to LGBTIQA+ individuals experiencing IPV.
